Christmas Magic Show

It may seem strange, the middle of September and talking about Christmas but this is when people start booking their Christmas parties.
This year I’ve put up a site for my Christmas show, www.melbournemagicshows.com

The Christmas magic show was designed to compliment Santa’s arrival and really creates an event.

As an added bonus you can download a free report, The Top Ten Biggest Mistakes Event Planners Make When Booking Entertainment and How To Avoid Them!

I predict…

www.thefunmagicguy.com,melborne magician Terry McSweeney predicting headlinesSpeaking of Flickr, this is my most recent upload.
It was a publicity stunt I performed at Melbourne Central Shopping Centre back in 1991.

I made a prediction of the headlines of 5 newspapers. My sealed prediction was notarised by then Lord Mayor, Richard Meldrum and was on display for a week, hanging above the mall in a see through safe.
The following week the envelope was opened by radio personality Liz Sullivan.
I was successful with four of the five predictions. I’m not perfect.

In 1996 I did a similar stunt, predicting the results of the first Melbourne Grand Prix, which got me some good T.V. coverage at the time.

Predictions were a feature of my mind reading/hypnotism show, The Mind Illusionist.

Predictions are a great way to promote a magic show or get extra publicity for events. At a fete or festival I could predict the winner of a cake bake-off, the result of a sporting event, or even the winner of the three legged race at a corporate picnic!

I predict in the future I’ll be performing a few more predictions.

My friend Flickr

I couldn’t resist the pun, and if you don’t get it, don’t worry about it.

On my website, thefunmagicguy.com , I have a digital scrapbook, 20 years (give or take) of my career condensed into 90 seconds. Instead of remaking the clip I’ve opened an account at Flickr where I will post updates, photos that didn’t make the cut and odd ones, like the Polaroid photo my mother took when I was 12 years old!

Thank you Whitehorse Orchestra

Yesterday, June 15th, was my fifth appearance with the Whitehorse Orchestra. Got that wrong in the Leader article!

Thank you Gerald Keuneman, musical director, and all the members of the Whitehorse Orchestra. I really look forward to our annual performance together and I hope the next one will be in less than 12 months!

Family magic shows 29th June 2008

Pipeworks Market, 400 Mahoneys Rd., Campbellfield
